Saw Act III of our upcoming "Moon" last night. I had only intended on seeing a few minutes but, once again" O'Neill's grasp wouldn't let me leave. The power, sadness, and beauty of the play held me for the rest of the evening...so much...in fact...that it was hard for me to concentrate on anything else last night, or, for that matter, this morning. The poetry and intensely burning fire of his work leaves you silent...unmoving...and waiting for even more to come. The tragedy of Josie and Jamie's lives will stay with you long after you leave the theatre.
