Tix selling quickly for our Gala Fundraiser next Thursday night at 6:30PM. Camden's own Brother Mickey McGrath will be unveiling his new painting featuring Eugene O'Neill and Dorothy Day [pictured here] at our 1st Annual Gala. They were very close friends and had great influence on one another. The painting will be hung in the lobby for all to see, donated by Mickey to SCTC. Be the first to see it next Thursday during our special event. There will be wine and light fare, a "meet and greet" with the artist, Fr. Doyle reading the poem that O"Neill and Day were inspired by, a wee bit of "Moon for the Misbegotten" [opening this Friday at SCTC] and special guest Bob Ellsberg [son of Daniel] who will be reading a few letters between Day and O'Neill. Tickets have been selling briskly and are only $25 and available at http://www.southcamdentheatre.org/ Be a part of this special evening at Waterfront South. Support the arts at SCTC, spend this evening of words, art and song with the artist and be a part of the continued rise of Camden. See you next week for this special night.
